1. Who we are

By creating an account or using Hexgate you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.

2. What Hexgate is

Hexgate is a Windows companion app for League of Legends. It suggests items, runes and counters, shows your stats and, on paid plans, offers extra features such as match breakdowns, lane scouting and local clips. It reads game information only through the interfaces Riot Games provides on your PC, it does not read game memory and it does not play for you.

Recommendations are suggestions based on statistics. They do not guarantee any result, and every decision in your game is yours.

3. Your account

• You must be at least 13 and allowed to play League of Legends where you live. If you are under the age of majority, use Hexgate with a parent's or guardian's permission; paid plans must be bought by an adult.
• One account is for one person. Keep your sign-in details safe; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• Give a real email address. We use it for sign-in codes, receipts and important notices about your account.

4. Free and paid plans

The free plan includes recommendations for 3 games a day (the day resets at midnight, Bucharest time). Games that end in a remake are not counted. We may change what the free plan includes.

The price shown at checkout is the final price. DAVOS TECHNOLOGIES S.R.L. is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added. The features of each plan are described on the pricing section and in the app.

5. Billing and cancellation

• Payments are processed by Stripe. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each month or year and is charged to your saved payment method until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time in the billing portal, from your account page or the app. You keep your plan until the end of the period you already paid for, and you are not charged again.
• Apart from the right of withdrawal below, payments are not refunded for unused time, unless the law requires it or we decide otherwise.
• If a payment fails, paid features stop until the payment goes through.
• If we change a price, we tell you at least 30 days before your next renewal at the new price, so you can cancel first.

6. 14-day right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you can withdraw from your first purchase of a plan within 14 days, without giving a reason.

At checkout you ask for your subscription to start immediately. So if you withdraw, we refund what you paid minus an amount in proportion to the days you used it. To withdraw, email [email protected] from your account's email address within the 14 days, saying that you withdraw from the contract. We refund within 14 days of your message, to the payment method you used, and your plan ends.

7. Offers, trials and referrals

Discounts, free trials and referral rewards follow the conditions shown with each offer and can be ended for new sign-ups at any time. Referral rewards are for inviting real people who use Hexgate. If we find referral or free-plan abuse, such as fake or multiple accounts, we can remove the rewards and limit the accounts and devices involved.

8. Fair use

You may not:

• copy, resell, decompile or reverse-engineer Hexgate, or access our API other than through the app and website;
• get around the free-plan limit, plan features or abuse protection, including by using several accounts;
• share a paid account with other people;
• overload, attack or disrupt the service, or use it for anything illegal.

If you break these rules, we can suspend or close your account.

9. Riot Games

Hexgate isn't endorsed by Riot Games and doesn't reflect the views or opinions of Riot Games or anyone officially involved in producing or managing Riot Games properties. Riot Games and all associated properties are trademarks or registered trademarks of Riot Games, Inc. You remain responsible for following Riot's own terms. Hexgate works within the rules Riot publishes for third-party apps, but Riot can change those rules, and we may have to change or remove features when it does.

10. Our software and your content

Hexgate, its code, design, texts and data belong to DAVOS TECHNOLOGIES S.R.L. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the app and website for your own, non-commercial play while you have an account. Clips you record stay on your PC and remain yours.

11. Availability and liability

We work to keep Hexgate running, but it can be unavailable for updates or problems outside our control, such as League of Legends patches or outages at our providers. We may add, change or remove features over time.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer, or our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, intent or gross negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost games, rank or League points.

12. Ending your account

You can stop using Hexgate at any time. To delete your account and data, email [email protected] from your account's email address. Cancel any active subscription first in the billing portal. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms; if we close a paid account without a breach on your part, we refund the unused part of the period.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Romanian law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts there or in Romania. Please write to us first, so we can try to solve the problem. Romanian consumers can also use alternative dispute resolution through ANPC - SAL.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when we change features or the law changes. We change the date at the top and, for changes that affect you, tell account holders by email or in the app at least 30 days before they apply. If you don't agree, you can cancel before then.
