All 36 New Augments, Card by Card

Mayhem's augment data grows from 223 to 250 entries on the PBE: 41 new ones, 14 gone. Five of the new entries are the Pentakill band's ability upgrades (more on them under Headliners), which leaves the 36 cards below. Numbers are the PBE values; where the files do not state one, the card leaves it out.

Headliners: A Band Takes the Stage Every Game

Each Mayhem game gets one Headliner, a band that changes one rule of the match. The game files hold eight. Names and rules below are the game's own text.

  • Pentakill

    Empower your Abilities

Empower one of your basic Abilities, granting it 20 Ability Haste, 10% increased damage, and 10% increased Healing and Shielding. At Level 18, Empower another Ability, even your Ultimate.

In the files as four upgrades named HEAVY, POWER, THRASH and DOOM.

  • K/DA

Collect all 4 Cards to gain an Augment

K/DA occasionally throws Photocards to their fans. Collect all four to gain an additional Augment.

  • True Damage

Hype the crowd to be showered with Anvils

Multi-kills, shutdowns and destroying towers excite the Minions, which drop Anvils for the team that generated the hype.

  • HEARTSTEEL

Some Augments are enhanced by the Band

HEARTSTEEL members can put Stickers on your Augments. Pick an Augment with a Sticker to get a bonus; each member gives a different one.

  • Cafe Cuties

    Healing Relics are empowered

The Health Relic aura restores an additional 20% missing Health and grants 25% bonus Move Speed that decays over 6 seconds.

  • Command Line

    Hacked Rerolls improve your Augments

Your first reroll in each Augment selection also raises the rarity of the rerolled Augment.

  • Space Groove

Boogie down on the Dance Floor

Dance on the Dance Floor until the Disco Ball drops, which grants everyone 1000 gold.

  • The Bee Band

Grab the Honey, avoid the Bees

Honey and Bees fly across the map. Honey gives your team 200 gold and heals you for 20% of your maximum Health; a Bee hit costs you 30% of your maximum Health.

Audition Missions and Reward Tracks

Four bands bring Audition Missions: goals you finish within a single game, like dancing in the middle of the map, landing skillshots or dealing damage with augments. Every completed mission tier counts toward that band's reward track, and tier 2 of a mission opens once tier 1 is done. On the PBE, each track lists Fame, Orange Essence, a band icon and three of the new augments Blitz.gg

  • PentakillFruitify, No Mana, No Problem, Hands off the Talent
  • HEARTSTEELLich Brain, Sap Magic, Upgrade Stormsurge
  • True DamageLonely Warrior, Weapon of Destiny, Third Times the Harm
  • K/DASound Barrier, Gift of the Drowned, Arcane Axiom

Reward tracks on the PBE are the most likely part of this update to change before October 21, so treat the exact rewards as a preview.

Be Ready on October 21

We build Hexgate, a free League companion app, so here is what it does in ARAM Mayhem. Season 3 changes the cards, not how the app reads them.

  • A tier under every augment card Free

An S to D badge under each of the three cards, ranked for your champion, updated when you reroll. New augments get a badge as soon as Hexgate's tier data covers them; until then a card shows no badge rather than a guess.

  • Champion tiers for the offer and the bench Free

Mayhem tiers for the champions you are offered and everything on the bench, so the swap decision takes a second.

  • Items re-ranked against the enemy team Free

Your next item, reordered against the five champions you are actually fighting, with the reason on every move.

  • Clips of your Mayhem games Pro+

Turn on Mayhem in Clips and every kill, death and assist is saved on your PC, ready to rewatch.

Frequently Asked Questions

When does ARAM Mayhem Season 3 come out?

With patch 26.21, which Riot has scheduled for October 21, 2026. Riot announced the first new augments for that patch on October 5, and the rest of the update is on the PBE test server now.

How many new augments are in Mayhem Season 3?

Mayhem’s augment data on the PBE gains 41 entries. 36 are augments you can be offered, and 5 are the upgrades the Pentakill band hands out (HEAVY, POWER, THRASH, DOOM and one without a name yet). Riot itself has shown five: Get Jinxed, Brass Blast, BEES!!!, Totentanz and Salvation.

Which augments are removed in patch 26.21?

Fourteen: Critical Missile, Dropkick, Combusting Interest, Fan the Hammer, Spiritual Purification, Ult Bot, High Roller, DropBear, Our Healing, Crit ’n Cast, Yowch, My Coins!, Hide on Bush, Poro Stampede and Dimension Shift. They are in the live game data and missing from the PBE data. Riot has not confirmed the list yet.

Is Critical Missile removed from ARAM Mayhem?

Yes, on the PBE. It was the most picked of the 14 leaving augments in Mayhem games played with Hexgate: 4.9% of players took it in the last 30 days, most often on Jinx, Caitlyn and Jhin.

What are Headliners in ARAM Mayhem?

A band that takes the stage each game and changes one rule of the match. Eight bands are in the files: Pentakill, K/DA, True Damage, HEARTSTEEL, Cafe Cuties, Command Line, Space Groove and The Bee Band.

What are Audition Missions?

Missions per band that you finish within a single game. Each completed tier counts toward that band’s reward track, and tier 2 of a mission unlocks after tier 1. The PBE reward tracks list Fame, Orange Essence, icons and some of the new augments.

Will the new augments change before October 21?

They can. Everything here comes from the PBE, Riot’s test server, and Riot often changes numbers, icons and even whole augments before a patch ships.

Does Hexgate show tiers for the new augments?

Hexgate puts an S to D tier badge under every Mayhem augment card it has a tier for, ranked for the champion you play. A new augment gets its badge as soon as Hexgate’s tier data covers it; until then the card simply has no badge rather than a guess.
